This was my first show as solely a designer and had no other responsibilities (i.e. not also tech directing or stage managing, etc), and it was my first [independent student] production as a designer at USC! This show was a blast and everyone who I worked with was nothing but wonderful and made my time on this show easy and enjoyable! If you're actually reading these little blurbs or have heard me talk about costuming, you are probably aware that I love costuming period shows that involve copious amounts of research. This show was exactly that, but instead of researching one period, it was researching 6 different time periods and 5 different real-life women from myths and history. Spanning from the 9th century to the 1980s, this show was a whole bucket of worms in the terms of the research that I love to do for my costuming.
