The Front Page, adapted from the film of the same title and His Girl Friday, was an excellent lens into 1930's film and drama. With this design, I wanted to pay homage to this piece's black and white roots as if we pulled our actors straight out of the silver screen, color and all. I wanted to evoke the original's source material while referencing the black and white newspapers that are extremely important and relevant to this story.

Our production was nominated for several BroadwayWorld Los Angeles awards including Best Costume Design of a Play or Musical, which is a complete honor and an exciting step in my career.
